If you’ve never played Temple Run, you should open up the App Store and download it this very instant! This game is extremely fun, and dangerously addictive. Temple Run is the biggest app store craze, and with a version coming out for Disney’s movie Brave, Imangi Studios, the studio that brought you Harbor Master, is striving to establish itself as an essential app store designer.

This is, without a doubt, the best endless running title released on the App Store to date, and being a free game, it’s hard not to give it a try. You can buy coins with real currency, to unlock new characters, wallpapers, and powerups for your character, but you can also use these coins by playing a lot and getting high scores. There is no clunky separate “purchase currency” that imbalances the game, and there is an “objective mode” to give you goals to work towards. These goals unlock further multipliers, and allow you to continue to score higher and higher scores.

Overall, I am a huge Temple Run fan, and this comes as one of my most highly recommended apps in the App Store. The app works with both the iPhone and iPad. Once you pick this game up, you won’t be able to put it down!
